  • PURE VANILLA – This is the purest representation of the world's most popular flavor. This pure vanilla extract has a clean ingredient list with no added sugar. Because we use whole Bourbon vanilla beans for extraction rather than splits and broken beans, our vanilla has a unique depth of flavor and aroma.
  • MADAGASCAR - Both home chefs and professionals turn to Madagascar (or Bourbon) beans for their versatility in both sweet and savory applications and their depth of flavor. Madagascar vanilla is an example of Vanilla Planifolia, the earth’s original variety.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible, no way to pour it without spilling

Small expensive and very hard to pour goes all over the place except where it's supposed to go. redesign the bottle. I won't purchase this again just because of that

1.0 out of 5 stars No vanilla flavor

No discernible vanilla flavor. Tastes like watered down bourbon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong alcohol taste

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on a vanilla for my cupcakes and frosting. This one had very good reviews so I gave it a try.It lives up to its reputation for being good for baking, if you are okay with your baked good/frosting having a strong taste of alcohol. (I personally don't mind it but I was making these for a surprise party where maybe half the people were sober, so not a great fit.)The frosting did taste like vanilla, with a strong alcohol flavoring. I will be sure to check the ingredients next time! (Alcohol is the first ingredient on this bottle, whereas the McCormick's I use for french toast has it as the last ingredient.)
